Be close to
the natural surroundings as much as you can and feel it and you will feel
calmness and peace in your mind and heart and a change in your nature till you
remain in that environment. Spending time alone in natural surrounding connects
us to the larger universe around us and restores our spirit in this hurried
age. Sitting in a wooded park and listening to the wind move through the leaves
fill us with a sense of quiet and peace.
Savor the
smell of flowers. Listen to birds when they chirp. Listen to soft music when
the river flows through the rocks. See in the sky and close your eyes and feel
every moment. Our priorities become clearer, obligations seem less pressing and
mind grows still.
Communing
with nature is also an excellent way to unlock our creativity and generate new
ideas. Newton formulated the Laws of Gravity while relaxing under an apple
tree. Natural surroundings serve to stifle the endless chatter that fills our
minds so that our true brilliance can be liberated. Take off your shoes and fee
the grass under your feet. Give a thanks that you have the privilege of
enjoying these special gifts of nature.
