Don't let the past to hold you back

Out of our life’s time a common act we do that most of the time we live in the past thinking about all those bad things, events or experiences that has happened to us. And by thinking about all those bad things, events or experiences, we block the way of all good things, events and experiences from entering in our life and in doing so we become like a frog in a well who does not know the great sea.   We let the past to hold us. Don’t let the past to hold us.  Unless we come out from our past, how we will live in present and how we will come to know about all opportunities, new experiences and all the good things and events that are made for us.  The timeless truth that holds that you become what you think about all day long, it makes no sense to worry about past events or mistakes unless you want to experience them for a second time.  Instead, use the lessons you have learned from your past to rise to a new level of awareness and enlightenment and use these lessons to fuel your future growth.

Life’s greatest setbacks bring life’s biggest opportunities.  Remember, happy people have often experienced as much adversity as those are unhappy.  What sets them apart is that they have the good sense to manage their memories in a way that enriches their lives. And understand that if you have failed more than others, there is a very good chance you are living more completely than others.  Booker T. Washington said,” I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.” Stop regretting on your past mistakes or problems and try to learn from the mistakes and find out the solutions.  So come out from your past cell and enter into present cell, there is lot of people who needs you and there is lot of opportunities waiting for you.  One universal fact everything is motile nothing is fixed in the earth and so keep on moving by experiencing the new things.

Serve with love

The ancient Chinese believed that “a little fragrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses.” One of the greatest lessons for a highly fulfilling life is to rise from a life spent chasing success to one dedicated to finding significance. And the best way to create significance is to ask yourself one simple question,” How may I serve?” Serve the people selflessly. We can serve the needy people by donating money, by donating our body parts such as our eyes, kidney’s, blood so that person who is in need may get new life and see the life with your eyes. And in another way we can serve by giving food who is hungry, by giving water who is thirsty, by getting the road crossed who is blind, old and who is handicapped, by providing clothes to the poor and by giving the education to the poor etc. Service can be of any type there is no need that by donating money you can serve the people, if you can afford this then you can otherwise simply by providing the physical service we can serve the people selflessly and surely by serving  the people with love will get happiness, abundance and satisfaction in lives. All great leaders, thinkers and humanitarians have abandoned selfish lives for selfless lives and in doing so found all the happiness, abundance and satisfaction they desired.  Mother Teresa said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."

Being valuable gets more value in the World.

In today’s life you find yourself that you are compensated not by how hard you work but how much value you add to the world around you. Everyone is ready to pay you more if you are valuable to them. The monetary reward you receive is determined not by how long you work but by how much value you add. This is the reason a heart surgeon is paid so much more than a McDonald’s employee. Is the heart surgeon a hard worker? May be not. Is the heart surgeon smarter? Who knows? But one thing is certain: the heart surgeon has accumulated far more specialized knowledge and specific know-how than the McDonald’s employee.

There are only few people who can do what the heart surgeon does and as a result, the heart surgeon is perceived as far more valuable to the marketplace. This is why the heart surgeon is paid over 20 times more than the person who flips burgers. Money simply becomes a symbol for how much value each person has added to the world at large. As diamond gets always high bid after paring or trimming.

So to be paid more money in your work, you must add more value to the world. And the best way to begin adding value to the world is to start becoming a more valuable person. Get the skills no one else has. Read books no one else is reading. Think thoughts no one else is thinking. Or, to put it another way, you cannot have all that you want if you remain the same person as you are.  To get more from life, you need to be more in life.

Find your place of peace

Find your place of peace where you can be quiet and still for some times out of your 24 hours. Let your mind take some rest into that place of peace. There no one can come, totally silent place, there you can meet with your soul and you can talk to yourself. This place will serve as your oasis in the world of stress.

This place will be a place where you can take rest and get peace from the crush of daily activities that demand your time, energy and attention. This place can be your bedroom or an apartment with some fresh flowers. Even a wooden bench in your favorite park can serve as your place of peace. When you feel you need some time alone, visit this place and do some of those inner development activities that are so easy to neglect during the course of a busy day. Write in your journal whatever comes in your mind and make your mind empty and refresh it or listen to your favorite music. Close your eyes and visualize your dreams.

Replenishing your inner reserves allows you to give more, do more and be more for others. Making the time to care for your mind and spirit will keep you balanced, enthusiastic and youthful. Place of peace where you can keep your self-confidence and hope young.
